Is needed by me.
I just put this mirror up in Clara’s room.
It has been playing musical rooms for the past while.
First it was in Millie’s room and never looked quite right.
Then it took a little hiatus to our bedroom and made friends with the dust bunnies.
Now I have put it in Clara’s room and I am just not sure it works.
So, honestly – what do you think?
Here it is a little closer up.
The other place I was thinking it would look good is above the crib.
It is looking a wee bit monastic in this corner. But there is something soothing about a monastery, no? I kind of like that look sometimes. I’m always torn between leaving a wall blank or putting something on it. A blank wall can be really, well, soothing. Or it can look down right naked.
Clara really enjoys the mirror here. She loves to gaze at herself, but she can paw at it, which makes me a little nervous.
HOLY GUACAMOLE! I love that kid!
Would love to hear what you think, about the mirror, not the kid. I am definitely keeping her around. No doubt about that!

I think I would like it better on the wall. I think with the shelf and plates you have enough going on above the changing table. Having said that I still think it looks good there. My only thing is that if you put it above the crib Clara will be able to reach it there as well and unsupervised, which would make me a little nervous. Love the mirror and the cute little face looking into it!

First of all, thank you for sharing your very entertaining posts with us. I always look forward to reading about your adventures. They always put a smile on my face. You have such a way with words and the photos are darling. As for the mirror, I think it depends where you want the focal point. It looks nice over the table but it would add more interest into the crib corner, as long as it was a safe distance from curious hands 🙂

I love it where you’ve got it. I think (just guessing) it might be a bit small to take on the job of dressing up the crib corner. You could try it and see, I suppose. But I really do love it where it is. It just fits. Its original and fresh. Me likey. Of course having Clara sitting in the photo makes it impossible to be objective. She is DARLING!
I would try to figure out (maybe ask someone at the hardware store) how to put the mirror up in a very secure way.
Now I bet you wish you hadn’t got rid of those vintage boy and girl “art” prints I bought for Millie’s room. They would have been perfect over the crib. Just kidding. I think a mobile, or anything from the Disney store, really, is what that corner is calling out for. Just kidding. I’m going to stop.
