I am the author of this blog.
Sometimes I actually post!
I know, it’s shocking!!
Hold onto your socks because I am about to post it up around these parts.
On Saturday we went to a park, “And it went a little something like this,
HIT IT!”
“My name is tum-tum, yes! My name is tum-tum, yes! And I’m here for the holiday season!”
(Inside Kelly family joke — couldn’t resist)
Actually, it went a little something like this…
It ticked many of the boxes on our “perfect fall check list”:
coats, bringing back the layered look (check)
crisp fall weather (check)
gorgeous foliage (check)
rosy cheeked daughters (check)
good. times.
(you might be asking, what was missing? I shall tell you — a mug of hot chocolate and a log on the fire when we got home)
Fall is still young and so, fear not — the chocolate and fire will be had!

I love this post, Lize! Nothing says Autumn like two beautiful girls layered and ready to play! Plus, Clara’s hair is getting longer! And the pics you and Jan snapped are gorgeous as always.

I LOVE Millie’s coat! So stinkin’ cute! And can I just say that dang=jiggity Jan takes some AMAZING photos. I need him to learn me some tricks!
And hey, they are selling Starbucks hot chocolate at Cosco these days. And it is goooood stuff. To me it is like happiness in a cup! I used to drink it in the dog days of summer when I was pregnant. I’d get really cranky and Allan would say, “We need to go to Starbucks.” But it is best as an end to the perfect fall day…

Look no further for your Christmas card photo. Clara looking up at Millie has got it all: They both look beautiful, you get a sense of their personalities, there’s a feeling of action of zzzz-ness, and they’re wearing RED coats! A major holiday decision made, and it ain’t even Halloween!

I got so excited I forgot to mention how elegantly beautiful the goose on the golden pond is, and the leaves, and the stone building on the water…..etc. Wow! Are you guys living on the same planet as I am? How come your world is so stinkin’ beautiful!?
