…BECAUSE
Sam & Chas’ wedding pictures have just been released to the general public
& I am a member of said group
As such,
I have viewed the photos multiple times
(all the while SMILING)
& now
have the great pleasure of bringing them to YOU!
You can go here to see them
OR
you can watch this little slide show that I have spent all day working on (no guilt, but please watch it if you love me and care about my feelings)
By way of explanation:
Sam loves the song “Blackbird” from The White Album, as I have mentioned once before. On the very same album is one of my favorite songs of all times, “I Will”. I think that this song could have been written just for Chas and Sam as it seems to encapsulate their story beautifully.
So I was thinking, perhaps when the blackbird finally makes her way to the light, she meets her love, builds their nest and sings a new song? Eh? Eh?
(or perhaps I should just get dressed already and not take myself and this little project so seriously?)
At any rate, I would like dedicate this song to them along with one of my all time favorite love poems by dear old Rumi. Gotta see the slide show if you wanna read the poem.
Check it out, suckaz — you are in for a treat, cuz I WENT TO TOWN with the iMovie special effects!!

Oh, Lize, this is just what I needed! I was feeling tired and haggard and burnt out. But then I watched your wonderful slide-show and now I’ve got the pep back in me old step! It’s just so great to look at those pictures and re-live the wonder and magic of that perfect, perfect day.
Also, I’m totally blown away by your slide show! If I hadn’t edited one or two things myself this semester, I don’t think I would’ve seen just how much work you must have put into this, because it’s seamless! And anyone who’s ever tried to make something seamless knows just how incredibly hard that is. Great work, Lize! And thanks again for that pep, sister!

So sweet and wonderful! I love Sam and Chas! And I love Liza slideshows about love. (I went through your blog to find the other ones you did too! Love them.)

I just watched it twice, and tomorrow I plan to watch it some more. And then again whenever I feel like it, which I assume will be often.
I think you should stay in your pajamas every day.

Dear Liza, What a wonderful piece. Sometimes when I see your work, your talents, your gifts, all I can think of is RiverDance. “HOW DOES SHE DOOOO THAT?” You’re amazing! I loved every spec of this!
